TRUTANICH OPENS CAMPAIGN FOR D.A.

One of the worst kept secrets in L.A. is that Los Angeles City Attorney CARMEN TRUTANICH is running for District Attorney.  Today, he made it official.

Immediately, the sputtering campaign of Deputy District Attorney Alan Jackson put out their own press release claiming Trutanich made a pledge to serve two terms.  What made the Jackson press release seem all the more bizarre was it was put out by Jackson's mouthpiece, John Thomas, who was slamming an original press release put out by none other than, JOHN THOMAS, when he worked on Trutanich's campaign.  In other words, John Thomas was criticizing his own press release.

And we thought we'd seen everything.

It makes perfect sense that Jackson would try to attack Trutanich because an analysis of fund raising reports filed with the County reveal that Trutanich has over 5X more cash on hand than Alan Jackson.  In fact Trutanich has more cash on hand than the other six candidates in the race put together. If money talks, then these other candidates have received an early indication that the voting public is probably not too interested in their candidacy's.

Hopefully, Trutanich will demonstrate that he's worthy of the tremendous support he's received thus far.

John Thomas is a complete stooge. It figures he'd slam his own press release. If any campaign wanted a guarantee that they're going to lose, all they need to do is hire this stooge.

The Meg Whitman people wanted nothing to do with him.

Jackson is having a complete melt down because all of his votes are going to Nuch now. Jackson will be lucky to get 5 percent of the vote. I love that the pots call their own kettle's black. Jackson says victims can trust him, but he lied and violated Marsy's Law reducing a death penalty case to 6 years. Cooley said he would run for two terms and he lied running for a third. Will Cooley pull out of retirement to try to force Nuch out of the race? Cooley only got 38% of the vote in LA County for AG. If he gets back in, there is no way he will get over 50%. Nuch is blowing Jackson away. With Baca backing Nuch, the law enforcement endorsements will likely follow.

Trutanich rasied more as an undeclared candidate than the rest of those wannabes raised collectively as declared candidates.

Supoosedly Jackson has been screaming at Jon Thomas all weekend for blowing all his campaign funds and leaving him with less than 100K to run this ego driven vanity effort.

His whole website is all about Trutanich and very little about Jackson. Shows you how desperate they are, and how paniced they are about Trutanich's entrance into the race.

Mario Trujillo will be getting married to a man named Jose now that Prop 8 is no longer the law of the land.

Best wishes to Mario.

John Thomas is as phony as a two dollar bill. He worked on Cooley 's third run after Cooley had declared he wouldn't run more than two times. Where was all the feigned outrage then?

If he wasn't working for that sanctimonious prick Jackson, you wouldn't hear a peep out of him.

Any politician that that threatens to throw Jan Perry in jail has got my vote. I love Trutanich. My family wants to volunteer for him.

Dennis Zine pulls his endorsement from Alan Jackson and gives it to Trutanich per Contra Costa Times.

He sites that it is secondary to Jackson's increasingly negative campaign. He didn't mention that Jackson is turning out to be a total loser, but we can ready between the lines.
